Vermont Mountain Bike Festival

This year's festival is going to be our best ever!

The Sports Trails of the Ascutney Basin is host to some of the best riding in the state with a diverse mix of trails to keep everyone stoked and having a great time. Inviting to both beginner and advanced riders, this festival will be a blast. Here's a list of event highlights:

FRIDAY  
4-6:00 Registration is open & time for vendor set up
7:00 Projected mountain bike movie & hang out time
         
SATURDAY  
8-9:30 Registration is open - sign up for rides (spaces are limited)
9:30 Meet for rides - rosters will be confirmed - please be on time
9:40 AM rides begin departing
11:40 Short AM rides begin returning
12:45 Long AM rides return
12:30 Lunch (not provided). Vendors will be on site.
2:30 PM ride roster check-in 
2:40 PM rides begin departing
4:40 PM rides begin returning
6:00 All PM rides return
6:30 BBQ - included in your registration
7:30 Mountain Bike Olympics & Games for prizes!
8:30 Awards ceremony and sponsor recognition 
9:00 Enjoy the vendors and relax

9:00 AM ride check-in
9:15 AM rides depart

2:15 HUGE Raffle Prize Drawing - must be present to win

Directions
  • GPS/Google: Ski Tow Rd, West Windsor VT 05037
  • Traveling south on I-91 (White River Junction, VT / Canada / Eastern MA ):  Take exit 9 and turn left onto US Route 5 for 4 miles to Windsor. Turn right at second set of lights in Windsor onto Route 44 for 5.4 miles to Ascutney Mountain Resort. The resort will be on your left.
  • Traveling north on I-91 (Brattleboro,VT / Western MA / CT / NYC):  Take exit 8 and turn right at the end of the exit ramp. Follow Route 131 for 3/10 of a mile to intersection with US Rte. 5. At the light, turn left onto Rte. 5 for 1.2 miles. Then, turn left onto Rte. 44A and follow for 2.8 miles. Bear left on Rte. 44 and follow for 2 miles to Ascutney Mountain Resort. It will be on your left just before the village of Brownsville.
  • From the East (Lebanon, NH / Concord, NH):  Take I-89 heading North. Exit onto I-91 South toward Brattleboro. Take exit 9 and turn left onto US Route 5 to Windsor. Turn right onto Route 44 in Windsor and proceed for 5.4 miles to Ascutney Mountain Resort. The Resort will be on your left just before the village of Brownsville.
  • From the West (Killington, VT / Rutland, VT / Woodstock, VT):  Take US-4 heading East. At Woodstock, take Route 106 South for 13 miles to Route 44. Turn left onto Route 44 and follow for 5 miles through the village of Brownsville. Ascutney Mountain Resort will be on your right.

Primitive camping 
50 sites available.  20'x30' grass plots.  Max 4 people per site.  $10 per site. Reserve spots with registration.
Water and port-a-johns provided.  No campfires.  No showers.
